Below is a visual guide on how to prepare a pastured chicken for the holidays. Bake it low and slow. For a 3.5 lb whole bird, bake for about 2 hours at 350 deg Fahrenheit or until cooked. If using a dutch oven, take off lid at the end and broil for a few minutes to get a nice golden finish.
